How is Peaine Township Organized?
 

Peaine Township Elected Officials:

Primary control of Peaine Township is vested in a five-member Township Board.

This Board is made up of a Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and two Trustees, each elected for 4-year terms. Board members are compensated for their labors.

Municipal Dock (formerly termed Yacht Dock)

Furthermore, Peaine Township supplies a representative to the Beaver Island Rural Health Center Board

And Peaine and St. James conjointly support the Beaver Island Zoning Administrator.

For over ten years, the Township has checked on the legality of its rules and decisions with the Township Attorney
