Bill Wagner Memorial Campground
 

Peaine Township manages and maintains the Bill Wagner Memorial Campground. Accessed via the East Side Drive, the campground is on the shore of Lake Michigan with a view of the west coast of mainland Michigan There are twenty-two campsites in the Bill Wagner Memorial Campground.

Location
Nestled against Lake Michigan with a secluded sandy beach at the midpoint of Beaver Island's east side, the Bill Wagner memorial Campground provides an excellent base for those who want to explore the wilderness of the Island's lower half.

Facilities
The campground's twenty-two sites are cut into a grove of pines, with outhouses, a pitcher pump said to produce perfect clear, cold water, and campfire and barbecue areas. Note that the campground is for "primative-style" camping - there are no showers.

The cost is $10 per night per camp site.
